Meet the Team

Hi! I’m Mark Rubin, founder of Kasama. In 2008, I was one of the first people in the world to ever learn Demandware, now called Salesforce Commerce Cloud. I quickly became a global expert on the platform, leading the most complex projects in the ecosystem before becoming a partner at a new agency in 2013, Moku Collective. At Moku, we were a top partner for years, winning partner of the year in 2017, before selling to another Salesforce agency during the acquisition spree of that time.

Over the years we found the need to meet not just our client's expectations of timely and high-quality delivery, but also faced their increasing demands for lower costs despite our expertise. While our clients and prospects wanted lower costs, internally we faced higher and higher salary demands for on-shore talent. I imagine some of what I'm saying sounds familiar.

In order to stay competitive, we invested heavily in the Philippines. I set up the office and have personally spent months on the ground in the Philippines; training our team on not just the best practices for E-commerce development but on the mastery and nuances of consulting. Over the years, we also learned how to navigate the incredibly complex (and ever-changing) business and employment regulations in the Philippines.

Founder’s Message

Tuba has 25+ years of engagement delivery and professional consulting services experience across a wide range of technology, including eCommerce, payments, digital marketing, and online banking. During her career, Tuba held leadership positions at technology companies such as Salesforce and Oracle, as well as financial services, consulting agencies, and start-ups, helping clients with their digital transformation projects and providing strategic services and support.

As VP of Delivery, Tuba continues to leverage her extensive experience to lead our global delivery team and support services. Her primary goal is to ensure that Kasama delivers high-quality implementations and top-notch services and support that result in customer success.

Tuba has a Master's in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University and a Bachelor's in Business Management from the University of Massachusetts. In her free time, Tuba likes to travel with her family, play volleyball and tennis, and visit museums.

H.J. has 20+ years of enterprise sales experience across a wide range of technology including eCommerce, payments, digital marketing, analytics, and AI & machine learning. For much of that time, H. J. was agency side helping clients extract maximum value from their software investments by providing strategic services and support.

H. J.  brings a deep knowledge of the eCommerce and marketing software ecosystem, and significant experience partnering with the leading eCommerce software solution providers to drive new business.

H.J. has a Bachelor in Political Science from the University of Central Arkansas. In his free time, H.J. likes to spend time with his wife and two daughters, volunteer for church and school activities, train for and race 5Ks, and upset his neighbors by hitting his drum set.
